Leftovers Make for New Clips

I sat down with a box full of scrap pieces of yarn and created a whole slew of new hair clips. Thanks to my good friends for donating their leftovers. This just goes to show that you can create anything you want if you just put your mind to it and there is no reason to spend money if you don't have to.

Go on over to my etsy page and take a look. I will be adding more in the days to come.

Come Out and Support Local Artists

Get yourself out of your house and come on downtown to the L.A. Historic State Park and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Buy handmade items from local art and crafters. There is no better way to support your local community.

Hope to see you there.

Ornament work continues

Some will be stuffed, some won't, will all be ready to hang on the Christmas tree, mantle, door knob or anyplace else you desire.

Be a part of the handmade movement this year and support local artists and crafters and help boost the local economy at the same time.

Christmas is coming!

This year I decided to trim the tree with handmade ornaments, so I am busy designing, cuting and sewing.

Making stockings and garland to hang in the windows.
Will post more pictures as soon as I am able.

Artpark is On

So much drama has unfolded over the last few weeks with the Downtown Artwalk in Los Angeles.
We all thought everything was going to be cancelled.

Luckily all seems to be resolved at least for the time being and the Downtown Artwalk and Artpark will still happen as planned. This event is something that so many people look forward to attending and it would be ashamed to have it taken away.

I just hope that in the coming days all the parties involved will be able to work out the kinks.

Newest Skellies

Having a blast creating these colorful, decorative skeletons. The pattern ideas are endless.

I am going to create a skell a day until the next Artpark event!
